2020 Canada and U.S. International Online Debate Championship
Final Competition

Four teams from Canada and the United States have participated in this international debate. After six rounds of fierce competition, the top two teams - one from the United States and one from Canada - will participate in the championship finals.

Date and Time: Thursday, November 12, 7 p.m. EST

Debate topic: Social media is a cause of increasing depression among youth.

Affirmative: Canada
Opposition: United States

The championship finals will be broadcast live on YouTube. Everyone is welcome to watch.

Judges:
Tommy Chan: Participated 3 times MUN (Model United Nations) Debate Competition and won second place.
Jonathan Latremouille: Canada Super Spelling Bee Excellent Debate Teacher, Spelling Bee and many more classes.
Jaden Zhang: 2017-2018 Canada Eastern Regional Spelling Bee Champion, 2017-2019 Scripps National Spelling Bee Canadian representative.

Prizes:
The winning team will receive $100 CAD and a championship certificate.
The MVP debater will receive $20 CAD and an MVP debater certificate.

All contestants participating in the US-Canada debate competition will receive a participation certificate from the Canada Super Spelling Bee Competition Committee.
